2018 Haro Shift R3

When your taste for action includes rocks, drops, jumps, and berms, you need the all-mountain Shift R5, featuring Haro's 4-Bar linkage frame and 125mm of travel. The low anti-squat pivot point suspension design and short rear-end keep climbing spunky and handling nimble, balanced by the downhill confidence of a long front triangle. Agile and playful, the Shift R5 is equipped with a Shimano Deore 1x10 drivetrain, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, and suspension components from Suntour and RockShox.

    Comments:

The frame's great! In stock form, the bike was a bit on the heavy side for a 4.5-inch travel bike. I practically replaced/upgraded nearly every component to lose some weight. But the frame is really good and is well worth the parts upgrade. My best upgrade was replacing the stock RockShox Bar 2.1 shock with a Fox Float R. I also recommend replacing the fork with one that has rebound adjustment, like I did. Now my Haro Shift R3 really rocks! Get the R7 to avoid having to upgrade the parts later. BTW, it's a beauty.

    Comments:

I just bought my 2007 Haro Shift R3 and it is great. I bike in town along the Trinity trails and at the local mountain trails and the bike is great!! I handles like a charm. If you don't have a lot of money to spend, this one gets you alot of bang for your buck.
