CITY TRANSIT The Marin Presidio is purpose-built for the commute. Spinning to school, zipping to college, quick trips to the store, long-hauls where you’d rather leave the car in the garage. Every Presidio comes with fast-rolling and puncture-resistant tires, comfortable geometry, hydraulic discs and plenty of mounting options for bags and racks. The Presidio will take care of business day in and day out. Our entry-level and most affordable model, the Marin Presidio 1 is built around a Series 1 aluminum frame and CrMo straight blade fork with 700C wheels, a Shimano 8-speed drivetrain and powerful Clark’s hydraulic disc brakes. LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM FRAMES - Presidio frames are constructed of lightweight 6061 aluminum tubing with rack and fender mounts. Series 2 tubing on the Presidio 3 and 2 models add internal cable routing, and belt drive compatible forged slider dropouts for internally geared hubs. MARIN SLIDER DROPOUTS - Our new slider dropouts were created specifically to bring the best technologies for commute bikes into a clean and tidy package. The dropouts slide to tension belts and chains, while incorporating flat mount disc brakes, and a direct mount rear kickstand to support the bike where weight is centered with gear. DISC BRAKES - Hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance. INTERNALLY GEARED HUBS - Internally geared hubs on the Presidio 3 and 2 package the gearing into a compact, maintenance-free package.

Developed in conjunction with freeride legend Matt Jones and taking its name from the most rough and tumble piece of Marin County, the San Quentin collection lives up to the notoriety of the namesake maximum security California State Prison. Blending the strength and style of our Alcatraz dirt jump frame with the natural trail savvy of the best hardtails, the San Quentin family of aggressive trail hardtails is the perfect mash-up for the modern trail rider. The Marin San Quentin shreds the boundaries of the mountain bike genres - doing it all with a huge splash of big air, speed, and style. Designed with the input of freeride legend Matt Jones, the San Quentin takes the DNA of our dirt-jumping Alcatraz and mutates it into a go-further and faster all-round, hardcore hardtail. Pedal all day in the hills, send it at the dirt jumps, carve the skatepark, go big in the bike park - it's all good on the San Quentin. The Marin San Quentin Frameset is supplied with a headset, seat clamp, and Marin rubber grommet kit For internal cable routing.

This model has a lightweight Series 1 aluminum frame with low standover, an ergonomic handlebar, plush saddle, and versatile, high-volume 27.5" tires with mixed tread for control on a variety of surfaces. Design features include our Comfort Control Geometry with upright seating and the ability to touch the ground with the forefoot, while maintaining proper saddle height for pedaling efficiency. SERIES 1 ALUMINUM FRAME - The Stinson features a Series 1 6061 aluminum frame with exceptionally low standover, disc brake mounts, and rack and fender eyelets and high-volume 27.5” wheels. Stinson ST models further lower the standover height with a step-through frame design. COMFORT CONTROL GEOMETRY - Marin Comfort Control geometry allows you to touch the ground with your forefoot when the saddle is at the correct height for full pedaling leg extension. We took our Matt Jones-inspired Marin San Quentin and shrunk it down to fit 20" wheels. It's the perfect bike for kids who are ready for their first proper, hardcore hardtail mountain bike. The Marin San Quentin 20", just like the big kid's version, shreds the boundaries of the mountain bike genres - doing it all with a huge splash of big air, speed and style. Designed with the input of freeride legend Matt Jones, the San Quentin takes the DNA of our dirt-jumping Alcatraz and mutates it into a go-further and faster all-round, hardcore hardtail. The San Quentin 20" will feel just like a 'grown up' mountain bike to your little ripper, built with a stout Series 2 aluminum frame, 20" wheels, an SR Suntour XCM suspension fork, 8-speed Shimano drivetrain and kid's specific hydraulic disc brakes. SERIES 2 ALUMINUM FRAME - San Quentin 24" and 20" both feature a Series 2 aluminum frame, with a tapered headtube, 3D forged dropouts, IS brake mounts, semi-internal cable routing and 135mm open dropouts. DIRT JUMP INSPIRED FRAME STYLE - Taking cues from the Alcatraz, as well as the full-size San Quentin lineup, the San Quentin 24" and 20" proved all the benefits of DJ style, with massive standover, slick frame tubes, and a hot paint job. MODERN TRAIL GEOMETRY - A slack headtube angle paired with a steep seat tube angle creates a ride that will fly uphill, yet descend like it's on rails. The balanced rider position is puts the rider weight between the wheels for steady climbing and handling on flats, while the slack front end helps to add higher speed stability through turns and rough patches. 1X WIDE-RANGE DRIVETRAINS - Modern 1x drivetrains, just like the larger San Quentins, give the rider the benefits of shifting simplicity and chain retention.

CASUAL COMMUTER The Kentfield ST2 is the step-through version of our top-tier Kentfield. Designed to be affordable, comfortable and reliable it’ll go the distance, every day of the week. Our Series 1 aluminum frame is lightweight and responsive, and comes decked out with plenty of rack and fender mounts to suit your setup. There’s a microSHIFT 10-Speed drivetrain, Vee Tire tires, Clark’s mechanical disc brakes and plenty of reliable Marin components. Why choose a step-through bicycle frame? Traditionally designed for female riders wearing skirts, the step-through has evolved to suit anyone that prefers a frame that’s far easier to swing a leg over. They’re ideal for less flexible riders, slow-speed urban cycling and riders that need to load their bike up with bags or kids. SERIES 1 ALUMINUM FRAME - The Kentfield features a Series 1 6061 aluminum frame with disc brake mounts and rack and fender eyelets and fast rolling, multi-surface capable 700c wheels with either a standard horizontal top tube or a step-thru frame design. CRMO BMX INSPIRED FORK - The stylish CrMo BMX style fork has straight blades, disc mounts, and BMX inspired dropouts. HYBRID GEOMETRY - The Kentfield features upright seated hybrid geometry that mixes the upright position of a mountain bike with the efficiency of a pavement bike.
