URBAN WARRIOR The Marin Larkspur has all the looks of an old-school step-through but with chunky tanwall tires, wide rims, powerful disk brakes and the option of a dropper seat post. Beneath those old-school looks is a super modern and Marin Bikes-made steel frame and plenty of today’s standards to keep it right up to date. Why just roll to the deli or ride to work when you can take a detour down your favourite dirt track on the way? It's an adventure bike, it's a gravel bike, it's a mountain bike, it's a commuter bike... it's whatever you want it to be. The Marin Larkspur 1 is built around a Series 2 butted CrMo step-through frame, a curved CrMo fork and 27.5” wheels. It has high volume 2.35” Vee Tire Co tires, a microSHIFT 10-speed drivetrain, Tektro hydraulic brakes and plenty of reliable Marin components to complete the package. STEEL FRAME - Larkspur models feature butted Series 2 frames with a mixte step thru design for easy mounting and dismounting, even with baskets and baby seats. WIDE-RANGE 1X DRIVETRAINS - Both Larkspur models are built around modern, wide-range drivetrains, 10-speed on the Larkspur 1 and 11-speed on the Larkspur 2. These drivetrains are stout and have all the gearing most anyone could use, without relying on sometimes-fussy front derailleurs. Clutch-type rear derailleurs and narrow-wide front chainrings keep the chain on track, all the time. DISC BRAKES - Hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance.

CITY TRANSIT Balancing performance and value, our mid-point Marin Presidio 2 gets a whole load of upgrades over its base model. We’ve built a fast, fun and exciting commuter with a lightweight Series 2 aluminum frame and straight-blade fork. We’ve added a whole load of simplicity and reliability with an internally-geared, Shimano Nexus 7-speed drivetrain, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, Vee Tire tires and plenty of reliable Marin components. LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM FRAMES - Presidio frames are constructed of lightweight 6061 aluminum tubing with rack and fender mounts. Series 2 tubing on the Presidio 3 and 2 models add internal cable routing, and belt drive compatible forged slider dropouts for internally geared hubs. MARIN SLIDER DROPOUTS - Our new slider dropouts were created specifically to bring the best technologies for commute bikes into a clean and tidy package. The dropouts slide to tension belts and chains, while incorporating flat mount disc brakes, and a direct mount rear kickstand to support the bike where weight is centered with gear. DISC BRAKES - Hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance. INTERNALLY GEARED HUBS - Internally geared hubs on the Presidio 3 and 2 package the gearing into a compact, maintenance-free package.

LONG DISTANCE MIXED SURFACE COMMUTING GRAVEL RIDING ADVENTURE ON AND OFF-ROAD RIDING The DSX is the mountain biker’s gravel bike with familiar hand positioning, reliable 1x drivetrains, large tire clearance, and dropper post routing for better off-road control, and on-road descending stability. Hopping up to a higher-spec Series 3 aluminum frame, the Marin DSX 1 has a whole heap of upgrades over the base spec version. Bolt-thru axles add stiffness and a carbon fork drops the weight and adds even more mounting points for bikepacking bags. There’s also an 11-speed 1X Shimano Deore drivetrain, WTB Riddler tires, Tektro hydraulic brakes, and plenty of reliable Marin components.

We took our Matt Jones-inspired Marin San Quentin and shrunk it down to fit 24” wheels. It's the perfect bike for kids who are ready for their first proper, hardcore hardtail mountain bike. The Marin San Quentin 24”, just like the big kid’s version, shreds the boundaries of the mountain bike genres - doing it all with a huge splash of big air, speed and style. Designed with the input of freeride legend Matt Jones, the San Quentin takes the DNA of our dirt-jumping Alcatraz and mutates it into a go-further and faster all-round, hardcore hardtail. The San Quentin 24” will feel just like a ‘grown up’ mountain bike to your little ripper, built with a stout Series 2 aluminum frame, 24” wheels, an RockShox suspension fork, 9-speed microSHIFT drivetrain and kid’s specific hydraulic disc brakes.
